The recent relaunch of the stock photo provider Fotolia saw the introduction of various changes for users. Alongside providing additional search functions and download options, Fotolia has also revamped its subscription model for new customers.
In the enhanced search function, anyone looking for a suitable picture can now have the entered terms also displayed as keywords – and remove them just as quickly with a single click. In the search itself a maximum price can be entered for a particular image, meaning that only results are shown which are within the set budget. The results overview now shows the hits but also the hits in categories and concepts.
The two subscription options, Standard and Premium, are merged into a single service for new customers. The monthly subscription now costs EUR 199 per user for up to 25 downloads per day. The corresponding annual subscription costs EUR 1,899. At the end of the subscription period, existing customers can decide whether to switch to the new model or to stay with the old conditions.
Fotolia can be found on Stand F 84 in Hall 8b at the viscom düsseldorf.
